Fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) grille is also called composite grille plate. It is made of unsaturated polyester resin as matrix, alkali-free glass fiber as reinforcing material and refined by special process. It has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, flame retardant, non-magnetic insulation, bright colors and various styles. It can be used in acid-alkali corrosion, hot and humid rust-prone areas, such as power generation, electroplating, ocean operations, etc. It can be used as anti-corrosion plate, sewage treatment, chemical, electroplating equipment supporting FRP products, such as trench cover plate, overflow tank and so on.

Characteristic:

1. Corrosion resistance:

FRP grids have excellent corrosion resistance to acid, alkali, organic solvents and salts, and many other gas and liquid media. They have incomparable advantages in the field of anti-corrosion. According to the requirement of practical use occasion, it can be economically selected to use o-phenyl, m-phenyl and vinyl resins as matrix materials for Xintao chemical FRP grids.

2. Light weight, high strength and easy to cut and install.

Fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) grids are made of resin and fiberglass. The density of FRP grids is less than 2 kilograms per cubic centimeter, which is only 1/4 of steel and 2/3 of aluminium. Its strength is 10 times that of rigid polyvinyl chloride, and its absolute strength is higher than that of aluminium and common steel. Fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) grille has light weight, which can greatly reduce the foundation support, thus reducing the engineering material.

Material cost. The FRP grille is easy to cut and install, it does not need to use large lifting equipment, only a small amount of manual and electric tools, which greatly reduces the installation cost.

3. Aging resistance:

The service life of FRP grids is more than 50 years.

4. Flame retardant:

The flame propagation rate of ordinary flame retardant FRP grids (ASTM E-84) is no more than 25, and that of advanced flame retardant vinyl grids is no more than 10. Oxygen index is not less than 28 (GB 8924).

5. Safety:

Xintao chemical FRP grille has excellent electrical insulation, no breakdown at 10KV voltage; no electromagnetic, FRP grille can be used in magnetic sensitive equipment; the special structure of FRP grille also has anti-skid, anti-fatigue and other characteristics.
